XSEED Education is a rapidly growing Singapore-headquartered education and technology company. We offer  schools a proven academic program that builds thinking skills and problem solving confidence in children. ​XSEED  has developed a unique, scalable, for-profit social-impact model, and is already serving 1 million children in more  than 3,000 schools across 8 countries, with the primary business being in India.  


It is now seeking a passionate, high performance Country Head for the India team. The Country Head will manage  all aspects of business in India across sales, marketing, product fulfilment and implementation. He/she will be a part  of core leadership team of XSEED and will lead and manage 200 people across various functions.

1.Position- Country Head, India


  Successful candidates for the role are:  


● Senior leaders with a core career in sales, marketing, general management, consultancy, or a combination  thereof, with a passion for impact  

● Able to deliver high growth, hire & manage large teams, lead senior talent, and contribute to strategic direction 

● Positive, high-drive, and hands-on, with a learning mindset and the stamina to build a high-performance  business in a fast-paced environment over the next 4+ years 

● Experienced in both multinational as well as start-up/SME environments (especially in the growth/scaling  phase); ideally with exposure to B2B product/services. International exposure is ideal.  

● People-oriented: excellent communicators and mentors to teams 

● Strong problem- solvers and analytical thinkers, with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions to  complex problems   

 

Your responsibilities: 


● Grow the XSEED India business to 10,000+ schools and 3.5 M students in next 3 years 

● Develop and implement a plan to create demand and achieve revenue growth 

● Manage P/L and drive development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans for the XSEED India  B2B schools business, including leading customer acquisition (sales) and satisfaction (retention, service,  implementation, fulfilment) 

● Optimize all the drivers of direct sales, marketing and supply chain. Develop and monitor key business metrics,  as well as quarterly and annual forecasts that will be used to manage the business 

● Deliver results through measuring market opportunities, process improvement, and resource optimization.     

Compensation will be attractive and comprise of fixed, strong performance-linked variable, and a compelling stock  offer. However, compensation should not be the primary reason to join us. 

2. Position- Head CSAT

Successful candidates for the role have:
● A positive, process-driven, people-oriented temperament, with a learning mind-set and the stamina to build a  high-performance customer success team in a fast-paced environment. 

● Demonstrated ability to manage large (50-100+) teams, hire at scale, lead senior talent (8-10 reporting  managers), and contribute to strategic direction. Must have excellent communication, negotiation, and  consensus-building skills and an ability to align teams. 

● Deep empathy for customers AND a drive to impact revenue and growth. You have both ​15+ years’ core  experience ​in customer retention/success/service including IT-enabled customer support, field implementation, and product fulfilment, AND ​experience in B2B sales, ideally to SME’s. 

● Experience in both multinational(s) and growth-stage small companies; including ideally in service-oriented businesses like financial services and ecommerce, and ideally internationally 

● Excellent academic credentials, graduating from a leading university with a degree in business 

● A passion to make an impact in improving learning outcomes for children


Your responsibilities:
● Drive lifetime customer value through customer retention and satisfaction, and higher product adoption

● Own and drive improvement in XSEED’s NPS, renewal rate and churn

● Ensure timely delivery of the product(s), successful deployment of the XSEED learning system, and timely resolution of all customer issues

● Build and lead a world-class team - including customer retention/farming, product fulfilment, implementation and customer support. Recruit the best functional experts to lead each area and attract high potential individual contributors to the team

● Define and optimize the customer lifecycle, by mapping the customer journey, developing listening points in that journey, and identifying opportunities for improvement
