How many times as a startup founder have you struggled with legal documents for incorporation or fundraising? Most of the times, unless you are very familiar with the ecosystem, one has to take recourse to lawyers/law firms to procure them at a price. The entire cost of all the documents put together easily comes up to INR 1 Lakh – INR 1.5 lakhsfrom a small to mid-sized law firm.
It is to reduce this information gap in the ecosystem and make paperwork more efficient that online deal-making platform LetsVenture(LV) has decided to open-source all legal documents necessary for incorporation and fundraising for startups and investors. The goal is to make documentation transparent and easily accessible to founders and investors.

There is no doubt India has talent. But, why do they keep on underperforming in the lesser-followed sports?
The biggest problem is that Indian athletes don't enjoy much financial or institutional support. While it is absolutely okay to complain, do we try to figure out the real problems behind this?
This is where IIM-B alumnus Shantala S Bhat and Gamatics come into play.
Gamatics.in is an online 'movement' which is focused on fulfilling the basic needs of swimmers in India. Not only is it a marketplace to order high-performance practice gears and equipment, but this is also the only exclusively online swim store in India.
Shantala spoke at length about Gamatics and its impact in an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda.
Gamatics.in is an NSRCEL – IIM Bangalore incubated company focused on empowering and supporting aspiring athletes. A Paralympian and Arjuna awardee, along with the parents of national swimmers are trying to support athletes at grass root level. It is and it will be an organization built by athletes for athletes.
People who spend 5-6 hours every day to bring the laurels to the country have an unorganized ecosystem around them. Simple and small steps to organize this sector can help each and everyone involved in this ecosystem to perform more efficient and effective way.
Right now, Gamatics is focusing on building and executing a complete framework in swimming because swimming is the highest medal winning sport.
We want to make people realize that sports can be a full-time career too! We do not want any athlete to sell their kidneys or wash cars to realize their dreams.
Shantala says, "We want to bring the revolution in sports just the way Amul did for dairy. These people are known to put their heart and soul achieving the goal they are dreaming and we are sure that collectively we can make a big impact."
With emerging technology, media innovation, and non-profit initiatives things are quickly changing. If we want to put a strong performance in swimming at the Olympics, isn't Gamatics a stepping stone to it?
The IIM-Bangalore's tie-up with edX platform to offer students world-class education free of cost has many takers from foreign countries. Almost 65% of enrolments are international students while the rest are Indians. Of the 90,000 to 1 lakh foreign learners, 15% are from the US, 3% from Europe and 1.2% from African nations. The Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) allows students to sit in the comfort of their homes and attend classes of faculty at top universities worldwide.
"MOOC is the new digital learning technology which can be used by young Indian professionals and students. It'll change the face of higher education in India. It can be made accessible to colleges in Tier 2 and Tier 3 colleges and in places where it's not available. Today, every student has a smart phone but she does not know about MOOCs or is not encouraged to take it up. In rural areas, there is tremendous young talent and a thirst to learn, but there's no internet connectivity. We'll collate the success stories of Indian students who attend MOOCs and share them to encourage others," IIM-B director Sushil Vachani said.
"There's a wide range of professionals from CEOs to engineers taking MOOCs. They also come from unconventional backgrounds like store owners in operations management," Ramya Srinivasan, manager, IIMBx, said.
IIMBAA currently has 15 registered chapters and corresponding key stakeholders to help the chapter perform its tasks.
